Ed Roland and Friends - Surprise show!

Friday’s surprise show with Ed Roland and Friends transported me back to when I was 12 years old, sitting inches away from my newly-gifted cd player reading the liner notes to 1995’s Collective Soul (Self-Titled). Following along to the lyrics, hearing Ed belt out “The World I Know” and thinking to myself how cool it would be to be in a rock band. 25 years later, sharing an evening with Ed makes my 12-year-old brain giddy with disbelief.

I digress.
